WANDA HILLIER

Chairperson

Wanda was born in Fortune and attended Fortune Collegiate High School. She subsequently went to Compu College School of Business and received a certificate in Travel and Tourism. Since 1998 she has been employed by Royal Bank of Canada and presently holds the position of Manager Client Care at the main branch in St. John's.

 

Wanda joined the Community Food Sharing Association in 2004 as a volunteer.  In 2006 she accepted the position of Board Secretary and in 2009 she was elected to Board Chair.  In addition Wanda sits on the Member Council of Food Banks Canada as a representative from Newfoundland and Labrador.

 

In the community she also volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and with the Janeway Children's Hospital.
